My dear heart sister. So sorry that you lost your mom last year. I lost both of my parents at a very young age. I have many moments where I wish that my mom and dad were here with me. So no this does not sound crazy. My mom will be gone 31 years in april. I miss her even after that length of time. During each day I try to always smile, and this makes me happy. Somehow I know my mother is looking over me. I still feel she is my angel! So my dear its ok. I am sending you a big hug and smiles all the way from Michigan. If you need an adopted mom I am here for you. This heart valve stuff is big! But if the surgery needs to be done then it needs to be done. The longer that I would have postponed the more damage would have happened. There will be bumps in the road, but in time you will forget about the bumps, and be ready to start living again and not worrying! Hope I helped make you feel better. Write when you can! Mary (Mia)

Elizabeth, Sorry to hear about your tooth issues. Much better now than after surgery. I was told no dental work for at least 6 months after heart surgery.I am 7 months post op from mitral valve replacement. It was a journey, and am thankful to have found our heart community. I have made so many heart brothers and sisters. These friendships will last forever. Try to not worry. Worry just stresses your heart. All will go well with your surgery. I look back and it seems like a long time ago that the surgery was performed. I am stronger now with my piggy valve and did not realize how much my calcified mitral valve was not functioning properly. I am here for you if you need anything! Welcome to this amazing ♡family. Elizabeth- Sorry you had to deal with the "tooth" problem(Had the same issue a month prior to surgery) but happy to take care of any potential problem that might arise from not having it done due to an infection that might have a chance to hurt the "new valve". It is difficult the waiting but you will be back on the list in no time and this will be behind you. Take care and hope the dental issue heals up pronto.

I an with you every step of the way Liz. Don't sweat the small stuff going on here at home, your health and a successful surgery are what you need to focus on. I love you oh so much and pray you find relief. You have many angels watching over you too, you know that. Xoxoxooooooo

Elizabeth, best of luck on Monday. I'm so sorry about your surgeon, so tragic and senseless. I too have surgery on the same day, so hopefully we can both recover quickly! All my best.

Best wishes for your upcoming event,hope you have some comfort until then. I watched video today about the procedure which gets your attention. I hope you come thru the surgery without complications.
