About Me

Diagnosed in 2010 with bicuspid aortic valve. At that time, the cardiologist predicted surgery in around 5 years, so kudos to him for his accuracy. My surgery is now set for Feb 2, 2015. I decided to go with tissue valve, and I also opted to participate in a trial type of tissue valve that is hopefully going to last slightly (read incredibly!) longer. Keeping fingers crossed!
