Hi Debbie! Yep, I'm eight weeks post op. It's amazing how quickly the time goes by after having OHS, isn't it? Oh, and my recovery started off rather bumpy and there were times when I was disappointed that I wasn't recovering as quickly or as smoothly as I would have liked. However, I am learning that recovery is unique and different for each of us and we have to go through the process of our own experience, whatever that entails. Through and in it all, God gives us the grace to make it. Wishing you much success Debbie as you continue along on your recovery journey. Peace and blessings to you! ❤️

Those little grandchildren need a well, energetic grandma to love them like no one else can. Hold on and keep telling yourself, "you will be better than ever". We don't always talk about it, but most of us have had our scary moments. Praying it's over and everything is comfortable, natural healing from now on.

Hello Debbie. My goodness, what a story you have. So sorry about your foot. Just adds to the stress and endless questions. I hope you find an answer from your doctors soon so you are not in limbo. I was caught there for awhile and it's frustrating. I kept collapsing in all kinds of stores and at home 3 to 5 times a year and no answers from doctors. It was my aortic valve with severe stenosis. Once I was diagnosed, I remember reading about facing the unknown. Someone wrote, "I am no longer and not there yet". I was no longer the person I wanted to be but not yet a recovered heart patient. Sounds a little like you now. Keep your spirits up. Our bodies have a remarkable capacity to heal and you never know who may have an answer for you. I pray your retirement years turn out to be everything you wish for. I am now recovering from my surgery and plan to re-boot my unsupervised second childhood at 73. It may be different than I planned, but I'll be there for it. I hope the same or more for you.
