Hi David. I had severe mitral valve regurgitation, A Fib and had surgery 7 months ago. I had a maze procedure all around my heart and a ring installed to close the mitral valve some. I've had dizziness, fatigue Etc. Had a wonderful doctor. I was told it would take a year to recover. I was in the hospital a month. The dizziness has been the most troublesome. Just trying to figure it out. I began taking Xarelto, but with my kidney disease, I'll be changing to Eliquis. Kidney function has declined. I am thankful for all that was done.

Now I’m just looking to get over the dizziness which for me turns into headaches and vice versa. Some good days but way too many bad ones. I’m hoping time will also help and I’m told 17 weeks is still in essence very early!! Patience I guess
