My surgery date is: October 21, 2025
I am thankful for all that was done.
My doctors chose thoracotomy because I also have an aortic aneurysm that has been stable and minor for many years and they wanted to preserve my chest in case years from now there is ever a need to fix the aneurysm.
That said I was told minimally invasive was all that!! Well much wasn’t explained and I’m reading rarely is. How the recovery is actually harder and longer.

Now I’m just looking to get over the dizziness which for me turns into headaches and vice versa. Some good days but way too many bad ones. I’m hoping time will also help and I’m told 17 weeks is still in essence very early!! Patience I guess
