Sounds like you did the right thing, mechanical, I am 73 and my Dr. says he is going to try repairing mine with some sort of mesh, have you ever heard of this?

No ma'am I haven't. My advice is to use the internet for information. Google valve repairs with mesh. If you had issue, it makes since to use mesh. They use mesh for abdominal , intestinal and many other tissue repairs.
