Hi Carol, I have been taking Metropol Tartate ever since my surgery in 2017. Do you have questions about it. I see where you posted elsewhere on the site and I thought I'd address it here.

A Cardiologist had me try that Metropol Tartate to see if it would minimize some of my extra heart beats. A small dose lowered my resting heart rate to 40 bpm, and I don't think it made much difference otherwise so I was instructed to discontinue use.

I should clarify that my cardiologist switched me to Metropol Succinate last year. It is an extended release medication and I only need to take it once a day vs twice a day. A great thing for me.

I take 1/2 pill 2 times a day, it was making me very dizzy.
