Hi MASS. Buddie (I was born in Cambridge). Cheering you on from Calif. Had Aortic valve replacement Nov 1 at age 73. My story was very much like yours. Years of "watching". Now enjoying grandchildren at Christmas with new valve. Sending prayers from the west coast that all goes well... Read more.

Thank you Bob. I am also undergoing a double bypass. I know we are in God's mighty hands. He will guide our surgeons. I too will be praying for you.

Thanks for your prayers Bob. God is in control. I'm not sure if I'll need a bypass since I'm having my heart catherization on the 26th. I had 2 stents placed a few years ago. Hopefully, they're still in good shape.
