Thank you for your post. I am 10 weeks out and doing so much more and feeling so much better. Reading messages on this sight truly helped me get through this along with the love and support of my wife and friends and the incredible doctors. But messages from those ahead in the process like yourself help so much. Keep up the great work and thank you.
I really enjoyed reading your post. You are an inspiration for all of us awaiting or recovering from OHS. I am delighted that you are back to a highly active life. My surgery is on 11/5. Your mantra "positive and calm" is one I will keep in mind. All the best to you!
Got your Christmas card and read about your heart problems. So glad everything went well for you and of course your family. Wish we would have known you were in Cleveland, would have came and visited you. It has been awhile since we have seen you. Love the poem Amy wrote and the wonderful person she is for taking care of you. Also loved the picture of your children they are all beautiful! God bless and take care, Love Ted and Penny
I am a CC heart gal and I am so glad things are going great .... with thanksgiving around the corner it gives it a whole new meaning !!! Glad to hear things are going great ... I often think WOW now my heart is actually beating the way God made it !!!
Great job Bill. I know exactly what you mean about the crisp heartbeats. I also had a couple days of some "extra" beats...I have PACs and they bothered me for a couple days but have gone away. I started driving this week and have been going into the office to get back into the routine. Its amazing how far you and I have come in 4 weeks...life is great!
We are so very glad to hear all the awesome updates regarding Bill's surgery! Praise be! Please know you have been thought about and prayed for every step of the way! Have a safe trip home today and we will be in touch.
I'm thankful the surgery was a success and will continue to keep you guys in my prayers for Bill's complete recovery. So glad he followed his wife's wishes and got that heart checkup earlier this year!
You might be interested to know that there is a great action shot picture of Ryan at the preschool track meet in today's Hendersonville Star News. I'll save it for you. Have fond memories of my now 30 yr old son competing in that same event 25 or 26 years ago!
Blessings for continuing recovery,
Bill! So happy to hear yesterday went so well. Our thoughts were with you through the entire surgery. Hope last night was with minimal pain. Know your glad and relieved the surgery is over and looking forward to healing and getting back to normal. We love yall and looking forward to you coming home so I can spoil you with good food! This event just might justify my sugar cookies you like so much! Take care and God bless you both.
