The week is halfway over, and only today do I feel like I am getting on top of things. Tuesday 4/30, saw my local cardiologist for a pre-scheduled follow-up appointment for after my surgery consults. I updated her on my surgeon choice. She acknowledged the mix of overawareness of symptoms and emotions I am experiencing is quite normal under the circumstances. She suggested a trip to my primary care physician's office. Also recieved my dental clearance today. Wednesday 5/1, I saw my the Nurse Practitioner. Addressed sleep, anxiety, heart condition, and wearing a medical alert bracelet up until surgery. Walked away from both appointments feeling incredibly calmer about my current situation. Added ICE contacts on my cell phone today. 5/2, Bought a medical alert bracelet today. It is an aweful lot to take in in a very short period of time, but it is all coming together. I feel blessed to have discovered this heart condition before a true lifethreatening emergency. Working through all the paperwork and logistics. Tutored today, it's like icing on the cake, making my day so much sweeter. Always calms me down, as it comes so naturally. Thanks for all the prayers and well wishes! Keep them coming.
