Wondering if anyone has experienced chest pain 4 months post op? The pain is usually along or close to my incision more towards the bottom. It comes and goes and is not that intense but certainly gets my attention. It is rather sharp and only lasts for a couple seconds. Anyone have any similar experiences? Should I be concerned?

Well going on Week 4 post op and I feel stronger each day. Really the only set back has been some hopefully annoying vision disturbances that happen a couple times a week. They last 2-10 minutes and come with flashing lines in one eye. Also, have had some minor tingling in my fingers from time to time. Wondering if anyone has experienced anything like this post surgery? Have an appointment to see my Cardiologist this week so hopefully I get some answers soon.

Sad to hear that the basketball player Robert "Tractor" Traylor passed away today from an apparent heart attack. What makes me wonder is he had surgery to correct an enlarged aortic valve in 2006. I wonder if that had something to do with his passing or if it was lifestyle related? Traylor was a heavy man for a basketball player.
