I just found the blog about the mental and emotional changes we go through after a valve replacement and I feel so relieved, I am not crazy, just altered

Altered is right! I hear you Wanda. OHS is a singular experience. Each person's normal is normal. You are not crazy. Take care.

I like that altered. Next time my wife calls me crazy i'm telling her i'm altered.

Altered, like neutered, my Richard? Seriously though, a big surgery does change you a bit. I feel a bit less reactive to some things, because of the heart surgery. Like Rita says, every body is different!

Yes, we are all different for sure. Some of us more than others. Never say neutered in front of a guy. Makes us very nervous.
