Well, my bicuspid valve was replaced yesterday. My chest hurts from the tubes, but otherwise I'm ok. I can sit in a chair and went for a short walk. Every day is going to be better than the last. The surgeon said I truly had a valve with 2 leafs,... Read more.

Hi Therese, welcome to the recovery side. I'm glad to hear that your surgery went well. I had my bicuspid aortic valve replaced in May, and doing fine. Wishing you a smooth and speedy recovery.
