Hello everyone! I am new here and have a 5.0 cm mid-ascending aortic aneurysm with aortic root at 4.7 cm and aortic regurgitation. Recently learned that my sister has the same thing. No early deaths in family and no one has had this before us, but I have learned that I have several nieces, nephews, and my own son with various things that can be seen in Loeys Dietz syndrome. I have an appointment 9/29/23 with Dr. Eric Roselli at Cleveland Clinic Ohio, and will also have another CT scan, echo, appointment with cardiologist there, and appt with geneticist. I am wondering if anyone knows how long it takes for surgery to be scheduled with him after your initial appointment. Do you find out at that appointment when your surgery will be? I am a little on edge because I have read that if you have LDS or any connective tissue disease, surgery is usually done at a smaller size. Thank you.
