Ran Half Marathon In Seven Months After Open Heart Surgery. My dream was to run a half marathon one more time after my open heart surgery on 29 Feb 2024; even though the day was hot and reached 100°F high, I truly enjoyed running there. https://studio.youtube.com/video/mWfQYO00tvg/edit

Congrats on getting through surgery! And good for you for training for a half marathon! I can tell you're doing great now, but I have a question. Did you have a reduced capacity for exercise before you had surgery because of your heart valve condition?

My 60-Day Post-Op Updates: I started Running and hiking after Open Heart Surgery, which involved valve sparing, Aorta replacement, and two CABG. I finally started driving and tested my ability to run and hike again. https://youtu.be/eRsdZiXK724
