Had a mechanical mitral valve placed just before Christmas 2022, so at time of writing I'm about 5 months in. The valve is working fine and I'm grateful. But I'm having a real problem with the constant ticking! Does anyone have any advice? Does the brain tune this out over... Read more.

Majority of people says their brain tunes it out over time, as I've read (and after that they hear it only from time to time...) I hope it will happen for you, too!
