Hi All I had TAVR Oct 29. The echo I had in the hospital indicated I have new pulmonary hypertension. I didnt have it before the procedure. Has anyone had this happen? Thanks

I left the hospital on several drugs including a beta blocker after mitral valve surgery - I think they were precautionary since I didn't have a diagnosis of hypertension. I Googled New Onset pulmonary hypertension after TAVR, but did not find any answers. I think that is a good question for your cardiologist.

Thanks Susan and Marie. I'll definitely ask about it. The cardiologist didnt seem worried.

Hi All 3 Weeks post TAVR and I'm doing well. I feel better but still struggle with stairs. I start rehab on Wednesday and am looking forward to building up my stamina. Thanks for all the prayers and good wishes.

Hello Rachelle. It takes time but you will get better. I am 6 months post surgery and I am back to doing everything I did prior to surgery. Just keep on pushing through.
