My heart valve replacement surgery was 10/30/17. I have coming up on my 1 year anniversary.
I have been experiencing symptoms that might be due to 'staples not healing propery', or 'sternum / chest plates' shifting. Tightness across the chest, should pains, back pains --
very uncomfortable. Cardiac stress tests indicate the heart is functioning satisfactorily.
Does anyone have experience with these symptoms?

Susan Lynn Congratulations on your one year anniversary! ❤ The pain you feel might be nerves regenerating, but it never hurts to call your cardiologist or surgeon. The best news is that your heart is functioning well.
