And the date has been decided and surgery has been scheduled. I will be having my valve replacement via open heart surgery on May 7th...less than a month now. Not much will happen in the next month except the pre admit appointment...So the next time I will most likely post will be right before the surgery date. I'm anxious but I know this has to happen.

Just wanted to update any and all who are wondering. I had my heart cath last Wed and we had no surprises. All is well except for my valve. YAY! The next step is to meet with my surgeon next Monday... to actually meet him and then to schedule the surgery. I'll know more then.

I am scheduled for my heart cath in the morning...8 o'clock. Prayers please that nothing new is determined except for what we already expect and that we can proceed with our scheduled appt with the surgeon on April 7th. It is slowly sinking in...this reality of my needing this surgery this year.
