Klara Čičić Dear Maryse, 5 weeks is still very very early, I felt really weak in that period, too. Please give yourself more time, your body had been through a lot, it is doing overtime to heal. I am now six months and starting to feel like myself again. 6 months! I'm sure you will jog again :)

Susan Lynn Maryse - To echo the feedback of my fellow heart warriors, it's very early into your recovery. The fatigue lingers for awhile. I was very fond of the afternoon power nap - it may give you the boost of energy you need, too. If you don't feel like you're improving, you may want to put a call into your doctor's office. They may be able to run some blood work to ensure your hemoglobin is where it should be. Be patient. Better days are ahead!

Rita Savelis I'm sorry that you have to go through this but it is still so very very early for you. Those who are in great shape and were energetic pre-surgery have a harder time accepting that their bodies are exhausted post-surgery. Your heart has been through a lot. It is healing. Don't believe those who say they bounced right back. They are masking the truth. Surgery is a big deal. Post-surgery is hard. Take care.
