I had SAVR at age 59 over 7 years ago. I was told my valve should last 15-20 years so I expect one TAVR. It's no picnic in the park but very doable.

Like the above I had a valve replacement at 63 vs TAVR. I thought I wanted the TAVR but conversation on this site and with several doctors made the decision for me a replacement. I was lucky enough to have a mini. I figure in 15 years with this valve... Read more.
