I am not sure why you would be admitted to ICU for Afib. There must be something else going on. If your surgery was 6 weeks ago, there is a good chance you still feel some discomfort. It might be more the muscles than anything else.

If LS had rapid ventricular response afib (heart rate over 110-120) or symptoms associated with the afib, I can understand why she was admitted To ICU. People can have chest pain, fainting, or symptoms of congestive heart failure with rapid a fib. Also the fact that LS was a recent... Read more.

Yes it was thank you. I am now on medication that I'll be on for another two months. I'm so frustrated with new pains! Anyone else experienced this ?
