I developed amiodarone toxicity in my lungs from that drug. Although the chances are slim it is not pleasant to say the least. My lungs are now a bigger problem than my heart. Don't be alarmed, just be aware of the symptoms and dosage. It's a wonder drug for some.
I was on it 5 months. It is a powerful drug & you should be closely monitored while on it. Troy, I'm so sorry to see that you had lung toxicity from it - best wishes to you.

My husband had mitral heart surgery...repair ..17 days ago...He is home..Shall I make him walk in cement or in grass like a golf court?
Just make sure there are no tripping hazards. And hold on to his arm to steady him so he does not fall. Remember it will take between 2 to 3 months for his chest sternum to heal properly.
Yup, I agree with John. Whatever area is close, easy and convenient will work for exercise. Just take it easy, and rest when you need to rest.

The fluid around the lungs will either drain itself or can be drained by a procedure. This fluid is a common effect and will make one tired as lung capacity is lowered.
