The day before I was to meet my surgeon and finally get my date....he broke his leg. Seriously... Wonder what the record is for being told you have to have heart valve surgery and actually having heart valve surgery. I have now hit the 3 months and 7 day mark.

I had a similar experience of having things set and being comfortable with my surgeon when I find out he is going on a medical leave and had to find someone else. Hope everything works out for the better
