Good morning. Today is Wednesday January 15th. Next Tuesday I will be in surgery getting my bicuspid aortic valve and ascending aortic aneurysm repaired. According to my surgeon, Shinichi Fukuhara at University of Michigan, there will be 3 possible options for the valve. But of course he can't specify what... Read more.

Best wishes on your surgery and recovery. I'm scheduled March 19 for my surgery. Aortic valve replacement and aneurysm repair.

They can actually repair valves a lot of times. In any case, I wish you all the best. I hope you checked out the learning center on this site to prepare for the recovery.
