Hi Ken, I was age 56 at time of surgery, I had a Ross at Mt Sinai with Dr El-Hamamsy almost 2 years ago now. I am active on no blood thinners and no prescription meds now. Very happy with my choice!

Thanks, everyone. Did anyone have the procedure done in the Boston area? At this point, I've had a consult with Dr El Hamamasy at Mount Sinai in NY. I'm considering traveling to NY if I can't find a qualified surgeon in Boston.

Two weeks post Ross procedure at MGH in Boston with Dr Bloom. On the mend and starting to get some longer walks in!
