I had AVR and an aortic graft in 2015. I'm 71. I have had back fatigue and chronic upper body aches ever since. I've tried every exercise under the sun. My torso gets tired after 15-20 minutes on my feet and I have to lie down. My shoulders and arms burn after 15-20 minutes of guitar playing. (I've played for 60 years.) Ironically, except for the not insignificant fact of being alive, my quality of life was better the day before surgery than at any point since. My guess is the trauma of surgery caused nerve damage, or triggered a chronic fatigue kind of syndrome.
