I am faced with my third mitral valve replacement. I'm looking for stories of third valve replacements on the same valve. I hear this is very risky, and I'm looking into other options. Getting a second opinion to see if we can save this mechanical valve. If there is a clot on it, I'm hoping we can try the risky TPA treatment before resorting to this riskier surgery. Any advice or stories are welcome. Thanks
