Basically diagnosed with Aortic Valve disease two years ago. My Aortic Valve was about 1.1CM in 2015, .9cm in 2016. My cardiologist says wait till I have symptoms before I get a valve replacement. Right now I'm concentrating on losing weight and being healthy. Who knows maybe I can stop/reverse... Read more.

Hi Jason, I really have no symptoms either, but valve now narrowed to .7, so it might be time for me.........more to follow after I meet the surgeon next week.

Hi Jason, I am in the waiting room. I am being check every 6 months with the echo gram. I don't have any symptoms, but if and when I do call my doctor. You will learn a lot here. Ask your questions, they are the best heart sisters and brothers... Read more.

Welcome to the group Jason. Focusing on your health is a great initiative before surgery and will definitely assist in your recovery. Try not to overthink the surgery but trust in your medical team and look forward to your recovery phase. Take care.

I was also symptom free but had"very severe" MR. Just had my surgery on Wednesday and I am so relieved that it's over. You will to if and when you get your heart valve fixed
