Terrie Syvertsen Hi Gloria. I see you joined the community back in 2013! Have you been aware of the Stenosis and just being monitored all this time? Have you seen a cardiologist before or is this your first meet? It can be unnerving as the changes take place to our hearts to set the actual tests and surgery in motion. Let us know if there is anything we can help with as you continue on this journey! Thinking of you and will be watching for updates!
Adam Pick Gloria, Great job staying on top of this... Are you having any symptoms?

Gloria Hinrichs I had CABGx2 plus Aortic Valve replacement (Edwards tissue valve). late October 2017. I am eleven months post op and had a very slow and complicated recovery. Slow chest/sternum healing with strong pain that would not quit. Blood pressure spikes. Neurological events. On more rx than I wish but finally improving. Even though I had/have strong family and friend support (incredible) and saw doctors in various specialties I did not use this or any other support group. Home care, cardiac rehab and I repeat amazing support and love from family and friends (and friends of friends and faith community) I realize now I needed people who went through the same thing (trauma) as I did. So, this is my delayed check in. I will log on more often to read about patient experiences. This will supplement and comfort me in ongoing recovery. Thank you for your outreach community.
