I am new to the site, but I want to tell you all that will be undergoing surgery and those still recovering that my prayers are with you. I had mitral valve replacement and tricuspid repair Jan. 2014. I was doing really good until I developed shingles about 5 mos.... Read more.

Hello Dollie, I'm new to this site too. The Heart and Lungs are closely related, I know with a leaky mitral valve one quarter of the oxygen-rich blood can be regurgitated back to the Lungs, which need to compensate for the build up of fluid. My Surgeon is concerned about... Read more.
