So sorry you had to go through COVID but glad you made it through and seems to be doing well. I can't help you with your question but hope other warriors can answer it fir you. Thanks Marie and Ana I read Civita's comments. I am much better the coughing part was really exhausting. It's how one manages the viral load which , determines the severity of Covid . Day 10 things can still go bad. With oxygen sats. But hey it's done for now . I have got a scan booked for 3rd to see 1 and 1/2 year post surgery. Once again thanks for replying I hope you guys doing ok. Anna I will try my best to be active on this portal again . Marie do you still feel the heart beat harder when you breathe deep or you have got use to it .

I do still feel a more prominent heartbeat when I breathe deeply. When I am reading in bed in the evening, I notice my breathing is very calm and more shallow. At these times, I do not feel my heartbeat at all. I actually do some calm, slow breathing in the evening as a way to fall asleep easier.

Hi Deepak. Yes I tested positive this past Thursday, I was unfortunately exposed the Sunday before to my family who didn't know they were positive. So far, I've had no fever, not really much of a cough. Just a stuffy nose and fatigue ( which is the worst part). I have been keeping track of my heart rate but its pretty much normal in the 60-80s, maybe slightly higher than normal as I tend to have a resting rate in lower 50s. but, again that is probably the body fighting off the infection. I have felt a few more palpitations, but I tend to be an anxious person and the little medical knowledge I have is dangerous and I get myself all wound up about "what might happen". I hope that nothing is happening in there I don t know about, but, truthfully I feel like I have a bad head cold more than anything else. Like everything we just need to wait and see. just as a side note I had had my first vaccine about 6 days before the exposure, so I was told the antibodies may make my symptoms milder. Hope you feel better.
