Greetings everyone. It looks like I will need an SAVR and MV repair. I am 58 and have been strongly considering an On X AV. I am concerned about potential clicking as I am a light sleeper. I'm looking for feedback on the valve. I also want to have Dr Neelan Doolabh at UTSW in Dallas perform the operation.

Lilian Peña Hello David, I’m 5 mths post op AVR and MVR both mechanical from SJM. Yah, you may hear a clicking or ticking sound but not intense or loud as I think before my heart surgery. Little by little I learned to embrace the changes in me and My new valves are now included in my prayers to work well because it gives life❤️Good luck and no to worry too much😃This too shall pass🙏
