Been a tough week but can start to see progress with my walking and breathing every day. My wife (Rosa) has been an heaven sent for me, keeping me positive in down times and just been a strong supporter. This takes a strain on our families too… onward and forward now. Pre surgery photo

Thank you so much everyone 🙏 , will still be in hospital for the next three or so days and then not allowed to drive for 6 weeks. Starting to walk a bit more unassisted every day, one lung is partially collapsed so just need to walk and focus on my breathing. Warfren for the next three months too. Next step once I get home is to look for a Cardio rehab program at one of my local hospitals, I understand it is a 6 week program ❤️

Thank you for all your thoughts, been a rough couple of days but got through successfully. My Surgeon, Doctors and all the Support staff at the Royal North Shore private in Sydney, Australia have been fantastic and I could not wish for better care. Spent two days in ICU and am now in the high care ward on the mend. Still a way to go and looking forward to the recovery process. That recliner chair at home is going to be handy 😊 thanks for the tip
