Hi everybody. It’s been a while since I visited here. I hope everyone is doing well. My question has nothing to with surgery, but I’m going to ask anyway.

I have original Medicare in addition to a supplemental insurance.
Ever since I came home from Mt Sinai medicare has not covered any of my cardiology visits. They cover the echos etc, but not my actual Dr. visit. Is this normal? I would appreciate any insight anybody may have. All fO this insurance stuff is so frustrating. Thanks

Today is my 6 month mark. I can honestly say it’s like it never happened. I feel great, do whatever I want with no issues and I am stronger than ever, thanks to getting on an exercise plan and some weight training. My scar is my only reminder of what I had to do.
I am so glad this is behind me and life can go on.   Now if I just didn’t have to tackle our taxes all would be perfect 😂

Quick question. Does anybody use a rowing machine and do you love it? I hear it is the near perfect piece of exercise equipment. I did not have an opportunity to use one, but several people have told me they are good overall body exercise.

Recent studies conducted by the Institute of Heart-Math provide a clue to explain the two-way ′′ healing ′′ that occurs when we're close to horses. According to researchers, the heart has an electromagnetic field larger than the brain: a magnetometer can measure the energy field of the heart that radiates from 2.4 meters to 3 meters around the human body.

Hey guys. I’m baaaack. I had my surgery last Thursday (7/21) and now (7/29) I’m recuperating in the comfort of my own  home   Everything is going great and I’m feeling really good.  There is no real pain to speak of, mostly just some annoying discomfort. Kudos to the Mount Sinai Team and to Dr Adams. I definitely made the right choice for me. Thank you all for the continued support as I know this is just the beginning of the healing journey.
