PCI after TAVI (TAVR?). My husband had a TAVI in February 2021. Prior to that, he had stents inserted in his coronary arteries but unfortunately suffered extremely rapid restenosis which was repaired with further stenting This occured again after the TAVI, and they did some PCI in June 2021 to repair the stents and clear away some of the blockages, and drugs to reduce restenosis. Restenosis is happening again, and after the last PCI (which they said was very tricky), he was told that they could not attempt it again. He is not suitable for heart surgery as he has severe COPD with poor lung function. What are his options? He is also diabetic, asthmatic and has osteoporosis. he does not smoke and is not overwieght.
