Hello Adam. Not sure if this is the right “location” for my brief post-TAVR comment for the benefit of all! FYI(surprised me) although my Structural Heart team mentioned briefly we might encounter an issue of LBBB (left bundle branch block) after the new Aortic valve was placed—we did! Seems oft times,40-50%, the new fit inside the encrusted old creates pressure on the electrical wires and caused a circuit malfunction. Another procedure EP mapping by the “electricians” is required to determine severity with possible PaceMaker implant to restore proper heart pumping action. I only post this as 40-50% seems quite high to NOT be a bit more informative to the patient! Good news is: I’m 7 days post and rebuilding strength while dealing with “catchy “ internal vein stitches due to EP mapping op.
