Hello everyone. i am new here.I am due for an aortic valve replacement. My cardiologist in Switzerland (where i live) has suggested that i undergo open heart surgery for my aortic valve replacement operation (this will be my second, first one was for myectomy). Meanwhile, i found out about another method called endoscopic, whereby the valve is replaced from the side of the chest, without the need for an open heart surgery, with a lot less recovery time. This method is not used in Switzerland where i live, and the operation would need to be carried out in Greece.Does anyone know about the endoscopic method and what has their experience been? The transcatheter option was examined for my case, though due to the diameter of the valve, this option is not available to me.Many thanks
