I am just starting in this journey and I live near Atlanta and I am looking for a surgeon and a hospital that will be the right fit. Since I had a quadruple bypass in 2003 I have some issues and I am in the process of evaluating the surgery and where it is TAVR or savr and can both mitral and aortic valves be done at the same time. I am 73 good health and mostly asymptomatic at this time. I am wondering if the pre op testing should be done locally and then theactual procedure done at the hospital experienced in the particular expertise that I need to fix. As I am new to this any comments as to path forward will be welcome.
