About Me (In My Own Words)
I was born with a Biscupid Aortic Valve. Was told from an early age i had heart murmur. Ran Track and Cross Country in HS.Was a Us Marine and Police Officer for 27 years. After having my Gall Bladder removed in 1999 i had a Blood Pressure issue on the Operating Table they thought it was a Heart Attack it was not but they then found out it was a bicuspid valve. The Cardiologist said i probably need it replaced in 10 years he was exactly right. 2009 I had OHS with a bovine valve replacement. In June 2013 during my yearly Echo they found a Ascending Aortic Anuerysm. That Operation was 2 months later performed by Dr. Brown. I am completely " Normal " now and hope not have any more heart procedures fo a long time. Update i now have Thorasic Anuerysm 3cm so now we wait until it grows w/echos every 6 months.
