Hello everyone. I had a fully robotic MV repair in 2010 and it reduced the leak, but I recently found out through an echo-stress test that the leak is once again categorized as "severe." I am symptom free and feel fine. I'm wondering if anyone out there has had an elective re-do procedure and what was your outcome? Based on the images from the CD, the surgeons I interviewed all said that it is "repairable." I am grateful for that yet I still can't wrap my head around a major re-operation when I have no symptoms. I'm anxious about the sternotomy since it wasn't necessary for the previous valve repair.
