About Me

I was Diagnosed with bicuspid Aortic Stenosis at the age of 13. Lead a normal childhood with regards to sports. Played Soccer. Ran track and field all through middle school and high school. Played Baseball for 12 yrs. Never had any issues. Age of 50 started showing symptoms of the disease . AVA was around . 94cm^2. Trended a little more over the course of 2025-2026. Had Aortic Valve Replacement and Aortic ascending repair in May of 2026. Surgery went very well. I never looked back, feel great. Only symptom that I really felt before the surgery was tightness in my chest under mild exertion. Now after the surgery, absolutely nothing . Cardiac rehab start week 4 post surgery. Walking, biking and a sit down orbital machine . When I wasn't there I was biking 8-12 miles every other night. Can't thank my Cardiologist and Surgeon enough.
