I am 48 year old female of Asian Indian origin. I was recently diagnosed with severe mitral Valve Regurgitation combined with AFIB and require valvular surgery to repair the valve.Actually the Afib was diagnosed when I went for a consultation regarding a cough and shortness of breath that would not go away.To cut a long story short, I am scheduled for a surgery on the 23 of Novemeber at Brigham and Womens hospital with Dr.Cohn. If anyone has had any experience with him would appreciate feedback.Wish me luck, and will keep evrybody in my prayers.
