About Me (In My Own Words)
Shortness of breath, nausea, and exhaustion brought me to my primary doctor who informed me it’s a heart situation. After setting me up with a cardiologist and tests it was determined I had mitral valve leakage, afib (had MAZE done), and a clot on my mitral valve appendage. Dr. Soltesz also found leakage on in my tricuspid valve. I had open heart surgery on Dec. 18, 2025 at Cleveland Clinic. Doing cardiac rehab currently at my local hospital.
