Hi my name is richard I am 57 years of age. Ten years ago they found a murmur. I was having a problem breathing during excursion. Was treated with medication which controlled it untill the last couple of years. The last stress test my cardiologist said the pressures were to high and it was time to fix the problem. I will undergo surgery on the 27th of january 2010 for mitral valve regergitation.The procedure will be at brigham and womens in Boston Under the care of Dr. L.H.Cohn
