About Me

I've been watching my bicuspid aortic valve for 5 years. I now have asymptomatic severe aortic stenosis with and early aneurysm. I had successful surgery on 10/24/19. I was in ICU 1 night and then left the hospital after 5 days. Only complication was transient atrial fibrillation which resolved after 45 minutes on amiodarone. The worse part of the procedure was the anticipation. After 4 weeks I'm in cardiac rehab, walking 2.5 miles a day, and drove for the first time today
