This is my second open heart surgery. First one was in Nov 2007 at Providence hospital MI and surgeon was Dr. Lee. The valve was 27 mm from Medtronic-pig. I was getting tired and out of breath for last several months. Elected to get surgery at CC. I am going through recovery and will be starting cardiac rehab on Aug 15. I was told that my old valve was very fragile and caught in ontime or could have serious implications. No tests had shown issues like that. Thank God that I had the experienced surgeon and best hospital. I was in hospital for five days.
