Hi, I’m reaching out on behalf of my husband, who recently underwent a complicated mitral valve replacement surgery (open heart). During the procedure, the sutures fell off because the tissue they were attached to was extremely weak. The surgeons reinforced the area with patches, and he has been sedated for 10 days.
There were some complications, including fluid buildup in his lungs, which caused breathing difficulties. He has undergone bronchoscopy and received several medications. Thankfully, he is now off the ventilator and heart tube. Although he’s experiencing some delirium, he’s getting physical therapy and making progress in his recovery.
I’m thinking of getting a recliner chair for when he returns home to help with his comfort and recovery. Could you recommend a particular brand or type that would be suitable?
