About Me
Stenosis and narrowing atrial valve; no stenosis but regurgitation of mitrial valve. Heart murmur for 5 years--not much change except for valve size 1.45, 1.5, 1.0 and 1.0. Four echocardiograms. Wait and see. Need to stabilize my blood pressure medicine: my blood pressure after swimming for a half hour is 80/44/93. Often I am light headed and a little dizzy--checking my blood pressure it is less than 110/65. My resting pulse is 55 to 70. It can rise quickly and go back down quickly. When my blood pressure is normal--120/70/65--I feel normal. No dizzyness, no lightheadedness and no exhaustion. I am taking 320 mg diovan (allergic to lisinopril), 25 mg HTZ, 10 mg amlodipine besylate and 20 mg Lipitor. Also take 20 mg prilosac, reg. Excedrin (aspirin included), Vit D plus vitamins. I have lost 15 lbs--and I swim 30-40 minutes laps at least 4 times a week plus walking and stretching exercises. I am 75 years old female--not overweight.
