About Me (In My Own Words)
Long Story. 4 strokes. Three is Annecy, France (where the bicuspid valve was found). Fourth stroke having moved from U.K. to France. Fully recovered from all strokes quickly. Cycling regularly (in the French Pyrenees, not easy riding!!). Looked at options for repairing the valve. Came across the TAVR. Changed my cardiologist to one who can speak English as well as French so I can better understand the treatment options and prognosis, including the necessity for long term medication (I would rather not be on lifetime medication).
Hoping the new Cardiologist can help me. First appointment with new cardiologist is on 21 August 2025.
