I was born with a congenital heart defect known as Aortic Insufficiency. It was not diagnosed until I was 20 years old and doctors have been monitoring it since then. My aortic valve is leaking and needs to be repaired or replaced. On June 27, 2013 I will undergo surgery on my valve in addition to receiving a Dacron graft onto my ascending aorta to prevent it from enlarging any further. My surgeon is Dr. James Alan Wolfe and the procedure will be done at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville Georgia. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers.
